Bob is a simple one page website designed to be a great starter website for any service provider. The Bob template is easily expandable to add more pages in the future as your business grows.

A bit of custom coding is included to make it easy to navigate the page and feel more professional than a DIY scrolling one page site.

HOW IT WORKS

The Semi-Custom Website Process

DISCOVERY

You fill out my contact form to tell me your interested and I send you a discovery questionnaire. We have a quick call to confirm that the semi-custom website is right for you. If we decide YES! we sign the contract and schedule a strategy call.

STRATEGY CALL

We meet again to talk strategy and select the best Squarespace template for your business. You can pick one of my templates OR buy one from another designer that I will customize for you.

PREPARE CONTENT

You use my Content Guide to help you write your words and gather images (which is SOOOO much easier when you can visualize where things will go versus starting with a blank slate!)

BUILD WEBSITE

I transform the template into an online home just for you using your content and colors and fonts that match your business vibe (with input from you!).

LAUNCH & LEARN

Your website is ready to launch just one week after our scheduled start date. We get on a call to launch together, I hand over the keys to your website and we do a quick training overview.

POST LAUNCH SUPPORT

You get 30 days of email support after launch and access to my full training library so you can make updates to your website yourself when you need to!

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Squarespace subscription: You will need a business plan Squarespace subscription. You can find the current Squarespace pricing here. (You will save 20% on your first year subscription with my Squarespace Circle discount. )

    • Domain: If you don’t already have a website domain (xxx.com) you will need to purchase one for $20/year (your first year is free with a Squarespace subscription)

    • Legal Page Text (eg. Privacy Policy): I will suggest free and paid options.

    • Other Potential Costs: Custom icons (a few dollars each), stock photography (if you can’t find free options), any other online software you need for your business (email marketing, scheduling, CRM, etc..)

    • You will pay 30% upfront when your contract is signed. I will collect 40% when I start building your website and the last 30% right before we launch your site!

    • If you already have a Squarespace website we can put up an “Under Construction” page and start building the new pages (based on the template you selected) on your current website.

    • If your website isn’t on Squarespace, we will start fresh with a new Squarespace website and you will have to buy a subscription. (We will move your domain over before it goes live.)

    • No problem! You can purchase one through Squarespace when we set up your website and the first year is free! (after that its abut $20/year). You can also purchase your domain from another provider and I can connect it to your website.

    • The first step is to fill out my contact form and answer a few questions about your business and website needs.

    • If it seems like a fit, I will send you a link to book a free 15-minute discovery call.

    • If we decide to work together, we will look at our calendars and find a time that works for both of us to schedule your website build!

    • It will be at least 2-3 weeks out from our intro call to make sure you have time to write your website text and gather photos.

    • Your website comes with one month of email support. You will be equipped with lots of training videos and guides that should allow you to make most updates on your own.

    • If you don’t want to update your own website or need something more complicated, you can hire me for a hour, a half day, or a full day to make updates for you.
